There are a limited number of seats remaining for a dinner at Noble Fare on Monday, Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m., that will showcase the beers of Dogfish Head Brewing of Delaware.
Brewery owner and brewmaster Sam Calagione will be on hand to discuss the pairings of this seven course feast. Included are scallops, duckand venison — and a finishing course with cigars.
I’m intrigued by Chef Patrick McNamara’s intermezzo of beer sorbet!
Sam is also author of the recently released “He Said Beer, She Said Wine,” which explores food pairing with both beer and wine.
$69 per person ++, reserve by calling Noble Fare at 443-3210.
Noble Fare, 321 Jefferson St. (Corner of Harris and Jefferson streets)
