Serious home cooks and professional will no longer have to special order fine extra virgin olive oils or aged balsamic vinegars thanks to Lowcountry Gourmet Foods.
Owner Robb Campbell and his business partner, Kathie Williams, oversee the tidy little shop, which is designed to allow shoppers to taste every oil and each vinegar before purchasing.
I was partial to a basil flavored oil – and the fig balsamic set my creative juices flowing.
All of the products are bulk shipped to Savannah and then rebottled under a USDA license for resale.
