Honestly, I didn’t check the nutrition information on new Krispy Kreme Minis, half-sized Krispy Kremes that come in original glazed, chocolate iced and iced with sprinkles.

But for my point-counting friends, I’m’ gonna assume half the points, half the calories. That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

Doughnuts remain the ultimate comfort food. I’ve spent many a contemplative moment under the glow of the hot light, a pair of yeasty, sticky Krispy Kremes in front of me. That, and a cup of hot coffee, have resulted in some epiphanous break throughs. Seriously.
