More than 35 breweries and nearly 140 beers will be on hand during the 2009 Savannah Craft Brew Fest set for Sept. 4-5.

A casual event Friday night at the Charles Morris Center will showcase a handful of craft beers and the best examples of Lowcountry cuisine — Lowcountry Boil, barbecue ribs, fried chicken and more! Music by Junkyard Angel..

Then, on Saturday, the Grand Tasting will be held on the esplanade of the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. In addition to beers, non-alcoholic beverages will be for sale, along with a variety of food options, festival merchandise and live music all day.
