French Carry-out Opens on Broughton Street

Chef Herve and Ann Marie Apgar have opened Papilotte, a French cuisine-to-go restaurant in downtown Savannah.The restaurant features an amazing array of French-inspired items like tartines, fresh soups and a baked goods case that’s brimming with delicious treats.

This 140-acre family-owned and -operated farm in southern Georgia produces award-winning cheeses are made from the milk of our very own goats and Jersey cows.
The Sweet Grass folks tell their story best:

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains’ scenic foothills of South Carolina, this small company became a commercial Grade A goat dairy in 1985. A small-scale cheese operation started in 1988 in response to a growing demand for domestic goat cheeses and as a means to utilize seasonal excesses of milk.
